Entry Deadline this Friday

If you are planning on entering the HSR event at Watkins Glen that starts in two weeks and have not raced with HSR in the past 5 years your entry deadline is in two days.
HSR is committed to building the open wheel grids at their events and this year they are featuring open wheel cars at the Mitty (last April) and Watkins Glen (in two weeks.) For both events they have committed to having separate open wheel run groups, basically Monoposto Classic in one and Monoposto F70 and Indy Lights in the other. Here is a copy of the HSR flyer describing their Grand Prix Classics structure and run groups:
As a part of encouraging open wheel entries HSR has waived their requirement for Flagtronics and, if you are a licensed driver with another vintage or historic group, they have made it possible to get a license to race with HSR for a very small fee. The reason for the deadline mentioned above is because of the time needed to go through the steps to get a HSR License.
Those of us who raced with HSR at the Mitty this year had a really great time and are looking forward to the Glen. We would like you to join us and hope to see you in a couple of weeks.
